Located in Whitefish Bay, this classic family home was reimagined for clients who love to travel and gather with their large extended family. Drawing inspiration from their trips throughout Latin America and Europe, the once-neutral living and dining spaces were infused with vibrant color, layered patterns, and rich textures. Window treatments featuring hand-printed textiles, bold botanical wallpaper, and a custom dining banquette create a vibrant setting for memorable family meals. In the living room, new furnishings were selected to encourage gathering and connection, including an antique coffee table worn with beautiful patina and stools that cleverly double as side tables or a few extra seats. A new fireplace and custom cabinetry anchor the living room with storage and new windows to bring in more natural light, all tied together with imported hand-painted tiles reminiscent of those found on their travels. The result is a warm, joyful space designed for gathering, storytelling, and making memories together.
