The Art of Gathering: The Full Campaign

October 16, 2026

In an era of screens, notifications and instant everything, coming together in person matters more than ever. As a furniture store just outside Milwaukee, we see it every day. A Thursday game night, a book club, a family dinner, a spontaneous date night or a movie on the couch: however it looks, connection is the common thread.

Two custom Taylor King captain's chairs are arranged at a parlor table covered in a custom Stone House Made tablecloth, set for a Mahjong match.

That’s why gathering has always been at the heart of Stone House, our furniture store and interior design showroom just north of downtown Milwaukee. Our patio is a shared space for neighbors enjoying a glass of wine from next door or a coffee from up the street. We also host community events, from flower workshops to our annual gallery night. So this season, we built our Fall/Winter campaign around that same idea. Welcome to The Art of Gathering.

The Dining Table

A table long enough for everyone, set in an open field as the sun went down. Our designer Megan foraged and styled every inch of it, from the dried hydrangeas to the vintage plating.

  • Table: Ethnicraft Bok Extendable Dining Table
    • Finish: Varnished Oak Brown
  • Banquette: Taylor King, custom with a contrast welt and ruffled skirt
    • Fabric: Degusta Cocoa
  • Captain’s chairs: Taylor King, Taylor Made line
    • Fabric: Simone Toffee Boucle
  • Dining chairs: Taylor King, Taylor Made line
    • Fabric: Luda Harvest
  • Candles: Trudon
  • Styling: Megan and KJ, Stone House Collective

The Living Room

Two sofas, two personalities. The Callie keeps it understated in Foxcroft Fawn, a subtle plaid made for fall. The Douglas, in Finley Steel, gets a little playful with a ruffled skirt. CR Laine builds both, one at a time, by hand, to host years of gatherings.

  • Sofa: CR Laine Callie Sofa
    • Fabric: Foxcroft Fawn
  • Sofa: CR Laine Douglas Sofa with a ruffled skirt
    • Fabric: Finley Steel
  • Rugs: Vintage and antique, Stone House Collective
  • Pillows: Stone House Made

The Parlor Table

Some gatherings are a party of two. Here, a Mahjong match unfolds at the parlor table in the last of the golden light.

  • Tablecloth: Stone House Made
  • Chairs: Taylor King, Taylor Made line
    • Fabric: Taylor King Simone Toffee Boucle

The Light

Candlelight, since 1643. Trudon has lit gatherings since the days of Versailles, and now it’s on our floor in Shorewood. Beyond candles, we also carry Trudon fragrances, from eau de parfum to room sprays.

  • Candles and fragrance: Trudon

Stone House Made

Handmade in-house by our fabrication specialist, one stitch at a time. They’re on our floor now, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

  • Fabrics: Maxwell Brummell Plaid in Hazel; Jasper Red Oak Stripe in Burgundy; Maxwell Arlington Stripe in Navy; CR Laine Kennison in Burnt Umber

Come Gather With Us

Want the full story behind every piece? Read our first look blog for the details on each maker, fabric and finish.

Here’s what sets us apart from other design firms: everything you see in this campaign is waiting on our floor. As a furniture store in the Milwaukee area, we invite you to come sit on the sofas, run your hands over the fabrics and pull up a chair at the Bok table. Then, if you have a vision, our team will help you design a piece that’s all your own.

We’ll save you a seat.
