In the ruffle of a hem, the extravagance of a fringed trim, the way a single yard of the right textile can take a room from nice to unforgettable.

A Love Story, Written in Textiles

If you know Stone House Collective, you know fabric is in our DNA. It’s the thread — pun very much intended — that runs through everything we do as a design firm and retail store. When a sofa wears a skirt, it transforms the whole thing. Likewise, a swivel chair becomes a statement piece the moment fringe is applied. And throw pillows stop being an afterthought and start becoming the very thing the room is centered around.

At Stone House, we’ve always seen it this way. Textiles are the feeling of a home, figuratively and literally.

Custom Upholstery, Without Limits

That’s why Stone House Made is Stone House Collective’s first step into the world of custom upholstery, and we mean custom in the truest sense of the word. What we’re creating is beyond what a big box store could ever offer. In fact, this is made-to-order, dreamed-up-just-for-you design, from the first thought bubble to the final stitch.

Here’s a taste of what that looks like:

• Window treatments with genuinely no limit on customization. We craft them alongside a trusted partner who shares our obsession with getting every detail right. Floor-to-ceiling drapes, valances, shades; the list goes on.
• Roman shades, even fully motorized, for the home that wants beauty and function.
• Table linens that turn your average Tuesday dinner into a memorable moment.

So how does it work? It starts with our fabric library, an entire collection that’s yours to dig through, touch, hold up to the light, and fall in love with. Our retail team is right there with you, helping you narrow down selections and put together a custom quote that fits your vision.

From there, for window treatments especially, the details matter, which is why our fabrication specialist, Kathryn, personally conducts site visits to measure your windows and talk through recommendations in your actual space. She’s truly a wealth of knowledge, the kind that comes from years spent seeing what works and what doesn’t, and she brings all of it to your project.

An Angel Walks Through the Door

Every big leap needs the right partner, and ours arrived in a moment Anna still describes with a smile: “Did an angel just walk through these doors?”

That angel was Kathryn.

Their meeting had all the makings of kismet — timing that feels too perfect to be a coincidence. Anna and Kathryn connected instantly, bonding over family, a shared and unshakable love of textiles, and a mutual passion for interior design and the home furnishings industry that runs deep in both of them.

As far as how she got here, Kathryn’s career has taken her across the country and across a remarkable breadth of industries, from the Santa Fe Opera House to the marine world — a career built on range, resilience, and an eye for beauty in unexpected places.
